CAIR and the Florida GOP vs. Freedom of Speech

What conservatives need right now is a political party to represent them.

The Republican party is no longer a truly conservative political force. Republican voters outside the Beltway still hold to their conservatism but those views are not echoed in the party and it’s leaders.

They have happily put on the blinders of PC and it’s tunnelvision view of reality.

Case in point, in Diane West’s Column the Florida couple in the GOP(County Commissioner Tom Hogan Sr and Mary Hogan ) who were castigated and dumped on, by the Florida GOP and The Council on American-Islamic Relations(CAIR), for simply stating that in their opinion Islam worldwide is “hateful and frightening”.

Well, from any objective view it is demonstrably a religion inclined to outrage, punctuated by accusations and threats and has produced a planet-wide cataclysm of horrific violence. But, Oh Gawd. You can’t say that, CAIR won’t like it.

Does any one in the Republican party in Florida( or Washington for that matter) still remember that thing in the Constitution, you know, uh, what was it now, Oh yeah, freedom of speech. Jeb Bush doesn’t. The Florida GOP doesn’t.

CAIR is their Islamic guiding light, and CAIR says that the freedom of speech thing is a vehicle for offense and must only be exercised as they approve. So forget the Constitution. CAIR will tell us what we can say.

Yep. The Elephant has pretty much joined the Donkey and they’re both imbibing happily on CAIR KoolAid with a PC chaser.

The Republican party needs a values transfusion and a copy of the Constitution.
